Missable collectibles: a chapter-exit checklist

What to inspect before leaving each area, and why clues and documents matter beyond completion.

Light location spoilers. This is a search plan, not a claim that every collectible has already been catalogued by this site.

Separate the collectible types

The PowerPyx index currently records 85 Clues and Documents, plus phone numbers, postcards, CRTV signals and resource containers. Clues often explain puzzles; documents add story context. Clues and documents also form the Discoveries Found total tied to the three ordinary endings. If you want the Justice route, treat them as part of the plan, not optional background.

Before leaving an area

  1. Open the map and list every accessible interior you have not visited. Recheck places that become available after a key item or power restoration.
  2. Scan walls and doors for notices. Search counters, bed sides, desks, drawers and trash cans. Some later clues are on computers, and a few require combining two collected fragments.
  3. Tune the CRTV when a new signal appears. It may hold puzzle context or a separate collectible broadcast.
  4. Use the nearest phone to save. Record the chapter and area in the save slot name if the game or platform permits; otherwise keep a small note outside the game.
  5. Only then cross the story trigger into the next section. According to PowerPyx, most collectibles cannot be retrieved by freely replaying a previous section.

Early examples worth checking

On the opening pier, inspect the small building to the right after the St. Amelia sign is revealed for the Boat Tour Cancelled Notice. In Town Square, go toward the Clinic and read the notice beside its door. During the first otherworld area, collect the Room Service Card before solving the door; it is both a clue and a recorded discovery. After the hotel elevator, check behind the reception desk for another note.

Zoe's house is another easy place to leave too quickly. Inspect the living-room table, the bathroom floor, the crawlspace by the stairs and the powered computer inbox. Then recheck whether any document remained before using Zoe's lanyard to enter the Clinic.
